My sister Tanya is pictured here with her latest edition little miss Grace Crittenden born on November 3rd at 1pm, weighing in at 10lbs (another successful natural birth) with her oldest daughter Kiri (2yrs).WISH LIST HELP
We have a wish list here on this site that’ll give you some ideas if you plan on purchasing a gift. Some items are pink (cause we couldn’t find a different color in that particular item) but preferably we wanted to steer away from the baby pinks and baby blues. Reds, creams, purple; black anything apart from the usual would be great.
Regarding diapers, we wanted to get a variety to see what would work best for her. We’re hoping she’ll fit into the g diapers, for a number of reasons, mainly for comfort in a disposable and also for their environmental positives. I wanted to try a handful of cloth diapers to see how comfy they will be for her (since all babies bums are different).
I’m aware of the work involved with cloth, however, I plan to be a stay at home Mum for the first couple of years of River’s life so cleaning, though, still painful, won’t be as bad for me. We plan on doing fifty percent cloth and fifty percent eco-friendly disposables (g diapers). Cloth isn’t ideal environmentally, especially for a state like Utah (cause of it’s water shortage and draught prone land) but it could possibly be more comfortable for baby and cheaper in the long run than going one hundred percent disposables. So, Please don’t be to frightened to buy diapers and or disposables for a gift, if they don’t fit her we can always return them, most companies are pretty good on that kind of stuff. Keep in mind a combination of different sizes would also be ideal, especially with growing baby
